Two for Tuesday #6

It's time for Two for Tuesday!

Here's two of my favorite math centers half off just for you!

Candy Jar Ordinal Numbers - practices using ordinal numbers 1st through 20th.  I just gave it a make over so it's oh so cute!  These are only $1!

The second math center is my Groovy Math Facts Centers.  These are great for the beginning of the school year for 2nd graders or anytime for firsties!  I love the bright colors but it won't eat up your printer cartridge!  You get three math centers for $2!

Check out everyone else's products and find some goodies for the school year!

Monday (Random) Meet Me #6

Easing back into the real world...well, real summer world, that is, after being on a lovely week long vacation in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

The weather was perfect!  Hurricane Arthur gave us little worry when it came through Thursday night, but plenty before it got here!  Would we have to leave?  Would flooding be a problem??  Ugh.... so glad our vacation wasn't cut short.  South of us had to be evacuated and the fireworks had to be rescheduled for today (boo!) but at least our family time was still intact.

So now I start the second half of my summer vacation.  Planning my classroom layout and lesson plans are on my to-do list now.  My room is ready for me to come back and start getting organized, but I don't know if I'm ready to start that...just yet.

Today I'm linking up again with the Teaching Tribune for their final (boo!) Monday Meet Me.  Check out my random facts below and link up yourself!

Worksheet Wednesday #4

I am so loving this Summer Bloggin' Link up at the Teaching Tribune!  Makes my blogging life a little easier having something to write about during the summer...and gives me an excuse to look for awesome resources and freebies for next year.

I'm linking up some summer themed graphic organizers found on my preview for my monthly and holiday themed graphic organizer set.  Click on the preview to download your set!

My students use these all the time.  They get excited to see what the next month's organizer looks like!  The freebie includes a place for students to write about the characters, setting, problem and solution.  I hope you'll be able to use these in your classroom!  Thanks for stopping by and check out some other wonderful resources!

Two for Tuesday!

Ahh... who doesn't love to go shopping?

And who doesn't love a sale?

I'm linking up again with The Teaching Tribune and picking 2 items from my TPT store to put at half off!

But the surprise is, I'm putting a little more than 2 things on sale!

I had a lot of awesome feedback on my 2nd Grade Boggle Board Pack the other week so I'm putting all three sets half off through midnight tonight!

Click here to get my 1st grade set, 2nd grade set, and 3rd grade set!

Each set incorporates the High Frequency Words/Dolch List of words in each boggle board.  There are 36 sets, so enough for each week of school.  I use mine in my word work stations or as a "I'm Done, What Do I Do Now?" activity.  My kids LOVE them!

So, head over and see what else is on sale and spread the love!  Tell your friends!  The sale is on! :)

Monday Meet Me #4

I don't know about y'all, but I feel like I'm working harder being at home than I did while at school!  Whew... who knew a 4 year old and 11 month old, selling a house, planning for VBS, packing for vacation, and trying to plan (some) for next year at school would be this tiring?!  Cause I'm pooped!

Today I'm linking up again with The Teaching Tribune for this week's installment of Monday Meet Me.  So, take a look at my three random (very random) and "interesting" factoids about moi.

Tomorrow I'll be linking with them again as I choose 2 of my TPT items to put at half off!  I love Tuesday!! :)

Teacher Tip Thursday

Ahh, it's been a busy first week off, minus one day for a math curriculum meeting, I've been enjoying my summer vacation!  I hope everyone is done and enjoying summertime!

I'm linking up today with the Teaching Tribune and their Teacher Tip Thursday.  This tip is a phrase that I have on a sentence strip in my classroom.  I've had it there a few years and it's become my go to phrase for kids who want to give up on something when it's "too hard" or "I can't..."

I heard this on an episode of Sesame Street a few years ago and thought that would be a perfect something to tell my kids.  So, all I do is point to it on my wall when stuff gets tough and hopefully this is something that they'll remember and take with them throughout their lives.

Got a great tip?  Head over to The Teaching Tribune and link up!  Happy Thursday!

Two for Tuesday!

I am so enjoying this week's link ups from The Teaching Tribune!  What a fun idea!  I have one and a half days left of work this week and then it's sweet summertime!  I can't wait to spend time with my sweet little family this summer!

How could you not with faces like those?  Ugh....squishy cheeks!  Well, those cuties are NOT my two for Tuesday, but I couldn't resist sharing :)

I'm linking up again with The Teaching Tribune to share two of my favorite (and newer!) TPT products.  For this link up, I picked two of my TPT items to put at 50% off!  Yes, this girl will be doing some shopping today!

The first is my 2nd Grade Word Work Sight Word Boggle Boards.  I made these for my students this year who LOVED to play boggle.  I couldn't give them a board fast enough.  Then I had a bright idea... why not incorporate some sight words in the boggle boards?  That was all she wrote!  I am going to use these as one of my literacy stations next year.  There are 36 boards, enough for each week of the school year!

My second product is my Buggy for Long Vowels packet.  I made this to help my students work on common long vowel patterns (VCe patterns and vowel teams).  These are hard for second graders (and others, too!) so I tell my kids there's not really any trick but good old fashioned memorization and recognition... but they liked using this packet.  I even saw on word study tests where they'd written the word using both patterns to see which looked correct!

So check these out!  They'll be half off until Wednesday morning at midnight!  If you snag them, please leave some awesome feedback :)  And link up!
