The weather was perfect! Hurricane Arthur gave us little worry when it came through Thursday night, but plenty before it got here! Would we have to leave? Would flooding be a problem?? Ugh.... so glad our vacation wasn't cut short. South of us had to be evacuated and the fireworks had to be rescheduled for today (boo!) but at least our family time was still intact.
So now I start the second half of my summer vacation. Planning my classroom layout and lesson plans are on my to-do list now. My room is ready for me to come back and start getting organized, but I don't know if I'm ready to start that...just yet.
Today I'm linking up again with the Teaching Tribune for their final (boo!) Monday Meet Me. Check out my random facts below and link up yourself!
I LOVED Anne of Green Gables! I actually found the entire set at a yard sale a few years ago and have it in my classroom.

I'm glad your family vacation didn't get cut short. I have read several bloggers write about fights breaking out in their classrooms...crazy! I'm jealous that you can go in your classroom already. We aren't allowed in until the week before school starts.
