I have been a craftoholic since I've gotten out of school. I've even gotten a good friend being crafty as well! There's nothing like a partner in crime!
The first set of craftiness is what most everyone is doing now besides the teacher toolbox. Mine is still in the basement and is waiting to dry from the several coats of spray paint applied by the hubs. I was hoping to have it ready to go today, but oh well, can't have it all! :)
Easy to do! Just cover with scrapbooking paper (haven't tried cardstock...might be a little too thick) and modge podge down. I used a little sponge to dab around the edges to cover up any mistakes along with the thin edge around the clipboard that didn't get covered. My friend and I did these Friday night and ideas were just flying! We decided to add our monogram to the back. Too cute!!
The next goodie I found on Pinterest a few months ago. I am making a busy bag for my daughter and niece for our beach trip. Since it's going to be about a 6-7 hour trip, I thought I'd make them some entertainment for the ride up and back. Instead of a boring ziploc bag to put their crayons in, I made this:
These are from Skip to My Lou and are the cutest things! I know my daughter loves hers!! The directions and original post are on the link above. Please check them out!
The last goodie my friend and I made the other night were these ADORABLE flip flops. We bought them from Old Navy and then tied ribbon around the straps. This was totally her idea so thanks to Shae!!! How stinking cute are those! Shae made her little girl's for the 4th of July. She's making a ribbon wreath, too. Craftiness abounds!!!
Link on up to Tara's Monday Made it and see what other goodies you can find! I know I'm checking them out!!

Thanks April!
DeleteI am loving those clipboards. I've been wanting to do that to my clipboards for a while now & unfortunately I packed them all up at school without thinking about bringing them home to work on that over the summer. Great job! :)

Dirty Hands and Lesson Plans
My daughter loves hers! I've been making them for all my friends' toddlers!
DeleteI did clipboards too! What did you do to the edges of yours? I can't tell from the pictures, but they are different from mine. I love your embellishments on them!

Stop by & visit me @ Fun in 1st Grade
Thanks Dana! I painted the edges and then with a sponge went around the top edges like you see in the photos. That helps to cover anywhere I cut too short :) Hope that helps!
DeleteFavorite clipboards I've seen yet.
